Vacancy: Software engineer

Are you a software engineer who gets energy from variety, technological innovation and impactful projects? At Geo Solutions, you will work as a Software Engineer in a consulting capacity on smart solutions that combine location and IT.

Whether you work with Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript or all of the above: we are not looking for a specialist in one technology, but a flexible, curious software engineer with a desire to continuously learn.

What will you do?

As a consultant at Geo Solutions, you will be assigned to a variety of projects at our clients.

Some of your duties include:

• Building and maintaining software applications tailored to customer needs
• Collaborate on the technical approach, architecture and implementation
• Watch over the quality of your work
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and sharing your expertise with colleagues
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and trends within your field

What do we expect from you?

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or other relevant education
• At least 3 years of experience as a software developer
• Knowledge of at least one back-end and one front-end framework
• A broad interest in technology and willingness to work in a variety of environments and industries
• You can communicate clearly and dare to come up with solutions that others haven’t even thought of yet. You can do this in Dutch as well as in English
• You like a no-nonsense culture with room for personal growth
• Knowledge of GIS is a plus
