Your responsibilities

This is what your role as a Functional Analyst will look like

As a Functional Analyst, you will bridge the gap between our customers on the one hand and the IT team on the other. You will be the point of contact for both parties, ensuring smooth interaction.

Some of your duties include:

• You analyze and transform business questions from our customers into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
• You talk to different stakeholders and review with them the different perspectives of a system.
• You will support the IT team in translating functional to technical requirements. Without losing sight of the bigger picture .
• You perform analysis, and convert it effortlessly into conceptual data models.
• You can smoothly invent new interfaces.
• You regularly delve into new customer inquiries. And you’re good at it, too.

That’s why we need you

Because your sense of initiative does appeal to us. Although there are many other reasons why you and your expertise are an asset:

• You have a degree in IT, geography, bioengineering, computer science or similar.
• You look back on a first experience with GIS applications. AND you are ready for more!
• You are familiar with the ups and downs of an analytical role, and no challenge scares you.
• Not only do you have knowledge of behavioral diagrams, you know how to apply and convey them. From use case to business process modeling and UML.
• You enjoy demonstrating your strong analytical skills and regularly push the boundaries of your conceptual thinking skills.
• You are good in dealing with others and a smooth talker
• You are a go-getter with a can do mentality.
• You speak Dutch fluently, but you know how to speak English et un petit peu de français aussi.
