Vacancy: Data analyst (GEO)

Your responsibilities

This is what your role as a GEO Data Analyst will look like

You are interested in geolocation, and data is in your DNA. Perfect! As a GEO Data analyst, you will make location data insightful for our clients.

Some of your duties include:

• You collect relevant data from various systems, and structure it.
• You analyze data to the bone and make connections. These serve as the basis for reporting.
• You translate your qualitative analyses into clear visual and graphical representations, and incorporate them into reports.
• Your reports are so correct and accurate that it speeds up our decision-making processes.
• You know when to develop a BI solution. You put those tools to your liking, combining them flawlessly with spatial models.
• You regularly work with databases, SQL, ETL and data analytics.
• You will provide technical support to your team in the use of GIS and other spatial models. Because you always know advice.

Although we see much more in you:

• You have a master’s degree in geography, bioengineering, ICT management or information management under your belt.
• You look back on a first experience with GIS software.
• You know your knowledge of BI tools such as Qlikview, Qlik Sense, GeoQlik or GeoMedia is a plus. So do we.
• You are familiar with scripting technologies such as R or pyhton.
• Your work exudes not only accuracy but also quality. To say “U” to.
• You demonstrate strong analytical skills, and make a difference with your conceptual thinking skills.
• You possess the necessary communication skills to convey solutions. You usually do that in Dutch, but you know how to speak English too.
