This is what your role as a Data Scientist in Spatial Information looks like

You’re data-driven in the world of data science, and would love a central role in our “spatial data team. You’ll end up in an exciting, rich data environment where you’ll do your thing as a Data Scientist.

Some of your duties include:

• You perform in-depth analysis and translate this into quality advice for clients.
• You work with various data visualization techniques, and do not shy away from trying new ones.
• You discover correlations and patterns in large amounts of data, which you translate into clear analyses and valuable business.
• You evaluate and describe business processes and models like no one else. Your critical eye is what we need!
• You will develop and implement large-scale applications, and collaborate with others to do so.
• Experience with AI
• Make big data analytics an automatism in our clients’ organizations. Improve their processes and innovate with unstructured data.

That’s why we need you

Because you just can’t get enough of data, and we can build and rely on you. Although there are a lot of other reasons:

• You have a master’s degree in IT, engineering or similar.
• You have several years of relevant work experience in data analytics, data modeling and/or data visualization. As a result, you will quickly become ingrained in our company.
• You have a solid knowledge and experience with big data frameworks. Hadoop, Spark, MS Cortana and Google: you are familiar with at least one of these frameworks.
• Your knowledge of statistical modeling and tools is also excellent: SAS, R, Matlab, and/orPython/NumPy.
• You are familiar with spatial data and/or sensor data.
• You are analytical and others sometimes envy you for your conceptual thinking skills.
• Your entrepreneurial spirit ensures that you regularly bring forward initiatives.
• You are independent, but you also work well with others. You may owe that to your organizational and communication skills!
• You are Dutch-speaking, but you know how to speak English too.
